When KWB Accountants purchased this building, which was previously a bank with offices and facilities located on both the main floor and in the basement of the building, they found that all systems were in great shape but a fully redesigned interior was needed to better suit the needs of their accounting business and the services they provided to their clients.

The new design includes a reconfigured vestibule, lobby, boardroom and reception area that creates better separation between client-accessible spaces and staff areas. Frameless window details in the reception area have been added to allow more light into the space, and all exterior siding and signage has been replaced for a consistent look with the interior updates. All new finishes were incorporated throughout the office on both the main floor and in the basement, taking cues from the owner’s established branding scheme. And because the existing washroom was previously located in the basement level of the suite, a universal washroom was added to the main floor to bring thebuilding up to code and allow access for all clients and staff.

Sputnik completed full design services for this project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. We also provided Contract Administration as a construction management contract with Westland Construction.
